Broken, decayed or chipped tooth can be saved if you contact your dentist on time. Do not leave any dental concerns unattended. BROKEN/CHIPPED TOOTH – DENTAL FILLING OR DENTAL CROWN OR VENEER

If your tooth or filling is chipped, dentist can easily fixed it with a filling. If your tooth or filling is broken, your dentist will see the extent of the damage, dentist will also take x-ray to check. Your dentist will fill the tooth with a tooth colored filling material. In case most of the natural tooth is broken or damaged, your dentist will also give you the option of covering your tooth with a dental crown. If the tooth is split in half through to the roots, your dentist will take the tooth out and will give you the option of dental implant to replace that missing tooth.

DECAYED TOOTH – FILLING OR ROOT CANAL TREATMENT OR TOOTH EXTRACTION

If your tooth has decay or cavity, your dentist will take x-ray to determine the extent of decay in the tooth. Your dentist will clean out the decay and fill the tooth. In case the decay is gone too far into tooth roots or the tooth is sore, sensitive to hot and cold, your dentist will suggest starting a root canal treatment to save the tooth, dentist will also give you the option of taking the tooth out in case your don‘t want root canal treatment.

SORE TOOTH – ROOT CANAL TREATMENT OR TOOTH EXTRACTION

If you are in pain, tooth is infected or you are experiencing sensitivity, your dentist will suggest doing a root canal treatment to save the tooth. Your dentist will take an x-ray of the tooth, start the root canal treatment, give you antibiotics if required and leave the tooth to heal for 2-4 weeks and then check the tooth before finishing the root canal treatment. Once the root canal treatment is finished, your dentist will cover the tooth with a dental crown.
